About Me

After years of working as an Organizational Change Management Consultant in Houston, TX, Jennifer moved to NYC to focus on Musical Theatre.  Jennifer is a versatile singer and actress, but it is her sense of timing and delivery that makes her a great comedian.  While she enjoys playing the ridiculous, it is the mix of intelligence, wit, and truthfulness Jennifer brings to her characters that make her performances memorable.

Before graduating from the Integrated Program (Musical Theatre) at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Jennifer trained in
voice, acting, piano, and dance at several studios and colleges, including Humphrey’s School of Musical Theatre, University of Texas at Austin, Houston Community College, and San Jacinto College. Jennifer also trained directly with several notable teachers including Alley Theatre’s Todd Waite, Sing With Power’s Eric Bruner, and UT graduate and NATS member Robin Cotton Cobb.

Born into a musical family, Jennifer was a musician from young age, starting out on piano.  She sang and acted in a variety of groups from small ensembles to fully staged productions and in a variety of genres from jazz, to barbershop, pop-rock, and opera.  She eventually found her way into the Andrew Sisters-inspired trio, Alli and the Cats, where she and her colleagues picked out harmonies from the original recordings and created characters and skits around their favorite tunes of the past.  The trio, coupled with her multiple seasons with the Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Houston and Opera in the Heights, solidified her need for performing.  After her hilarious renditions of Fleta in Iolanthe and Hebe in HMS Pinafore, she knew this was a passion and gift she could no longer minimize.

In New York, Jennifer recently took the lead in the short film, Hanlon's Razor.  She has appeared in other films and series as both host and background.  On stage, she has performed with the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players and in the short play festival at the Players Theatre.  She is extremely excited to apply her entrepreneurial skills in co-founding Nightingale Productions, LLC and return to her love of the '30s & '40s in her trio, the New York Nightingales. The Nightingales have performed for numerous crowds and events in NYC and beyond at venues including Feinstein's/54 Below, West Point, the Smithsonian, Tavern on the Green, and many more.

Jennifer has recently become bi-coastal, maintaining a residence in Yonkers, NY in addition to her family's new home in McMinnville, OR where she  debuted at the Gallery Theater in the Sound of Music as the opening soloist in the Nuns ensemble.  She is excited to see what other opportunities await in the McMinnville / Portland area.
